Number 2 Search Topic: Math Type of Search: Key words
Best One: Math Forum : Fractions : Dr Math Q&As, Elementary Level http://forum.swarthmore.edu/paths/fractions/e.fracdrmathstud.html This website was very informational and was clear enough for students to understand. We saw many websites that we saw that we could use in our classrooms.
Number 3 Search Topic: Math Type of Search: Key words
Best One: Fun Mathematics Lessons by Cynthia Lanius http://math.rice.edu /~lanius/This site was the best site overall because of the neat graphics and eye catching detail.
Cynthia Lanius found on Dog Pile-Congratulations! We believe that the best website was the last one that we found. Dog Pile had all of the qualifications to meet Kathy Schrocks criteria. The website was well-organized and very user friendly. It had links so that you could go any where with the minimum of two clicks. The author is listed and is available through e-mail for questions. Comparing this site to the others that we search we found that this one contained better information and the type of information that we were looking for to use in the classroom. The other searches were way to broad and the detail of each site was lacking in information that we needed. |
